Before you apply
- Current licence and the last renewal receipt
- Approved plan, and any approved extension since
- Latest stability certificate for the building
- Fire NOC, in date
- Test certificates for pressure vessels, lifts and hoists
- Consent from the pollution control board, where it applies
Apply early
Apply well before expiry and keep the acknowledgement. Renewal fees are set by the State and depend on the installed power and the number of workers.
After
- Record the new expiry and licence number in the register here, and set the renewal lead time.

Can we keep operating while the renewal is pending?
Ask the licensing office in writing and keep the reply. Do not assume that an application in progress is permission to run.
